FAQ

  1. Can I charge to perform a massage to someone else?
Every state and country has its owns regulations although you should have to be a license massage therapist at least to charge for your services. It is always good to get in touch with the Board of Massage Therapy in your state or country or visit its webpage to get more information. The material included in this website is for educational purposes.

  2. I have the feeling that I have little or no skill to perform a massage.
The most important things is to have the will and desire to perform it. Some people may take more time to learn than other. Other than that you can do it.

  3. Do I need creams or special oils to perform a massage?
According to my experience you can do it with your bare hands although it is always advisable to use creams and oils to improve hands sliding and energy connection.

  4. Can I get contagious of a disease by touching a patient or performing a massage?
It is always important to check on the person/patient skin before applying a massage and not to find any openings or bleeding as well as to clean up the area properly from sweat. A lot of people use non-allergic latex gloves to avoid further complications.

  5. What if I can't download the software or I am having problems to do it? You can request the material to be sent by ordinary mail although a fee would be applicable for shipping and handling or request a refund if you don't want to do that.

  6. I want to give to my partner a good massage but she or he is under medical treatment. What should I do?. It is always good to consult to a doctor or a Physical Therapist before applying a massage to someone that is going through medical treatment. In most acute states it is usually contraindicated or only could be applied by a specialist or license professional.

  7. What do I need to apply a good massage? It is always good to have a comfortable room or place, relaxing music, massage table and you can use variables like candles, scents, etc

Hi, Fernando!

Finished the download. As we say here in Hawai`i, "mahalo nui"!
(thanks a lot!)...great stuff!

Got the videos to learn how to give my girlfriend a better massage,
so will be trying it out this Tues.-Wed. (then it's her turn to try
it on me!).

Aloha,

Testimony from Massage Student:
I want to thank you for putting together this comprehensive and knowledgeable video set for educating therapist about how to give a proper massage! This will go a long way in my education. It's just like having a personal instructor on hand, to learn all about giving a massage. Thank you so much for this video series!

Hello!
Thank you for your informative video! I love it.
I was finally able to download after the movie open, and I click on Save As, and it will start to download. You can give that hint to others, if they can't figure out what to do, once the movie starts, just let it play and click FILE  (SAVE AS), and then save to computer.  It takes a long time to download. You might wish to consider zipping the file and then they can download a bundle at a time. Total minute for me was around 1 hr. to download everything on cable DSL speed.

Cheers,
Elizabeth
